Lip Piercing

Lip piercings have a variety of placements around the lip tissue. This includes directly above the Cupid's Bow (the philtrum, pictured left), traditional labret piercings, placed in the center under the lower lip, and any sort or paired placement (colloquially referred to as snakebites, spiderbites, etc.). These piercings see a significant amount of swelling and need a longer piece of jewelry at the beginning, but also need downsizing relatively early on in the healing process.
