Fossilized shark teeth from the Megalodon, an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 to 2.6 million years ago, during the Cenozoic era. Two smaller teeth from this gigantic predator of the past hang from 8-gauge brass coils in hammered brass. Each shark weighed approximately 100 tons and measured up to 70’ in total length.
